Terms of Use

1. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into transactions to create an account or buy or sell through the service. Provide accurate account information, keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not impersonate another person, share an account to evade restrictions, or create accounts for fraudulent activity.

You are responsible for your own posts and transactions. Payment providers may require additional identity checks, account eligibility, and permissions before you can make or receive payments.

2. How the marketplace works

Collection Connection provides tools for listings, seller profiles and reviews, community chat, messaging, shipping quotes, tracking, and supported checkout. Unless a listing expressly identifies Collection Connection as the seller, the sale is between the buyer and the seller named in that listing. We do not inspect, grade, authenticate, insure, or possess every listed item.

Check the seller, item description, photos, price, condition, and agreed terms before buying. Reviews and profile information are not guarantees of identity, authenticity, or future performance. Saving a shipping request or obtaining a quote does not purchase or reserve an item.

3. Seller responsibilities and permitted items

List only items you own or are authorized to sell and can lawfully transfer. Accurately describe condition, authenticity, grading, alterations, damage, quantity, and what is included. Use photos and text you have permission to publish. Do not present a reproduction, proxy, altered item, or counterfeit as an authentic collectible.

Stolen goods, counterfeit goods, unlawful goods, and items prohibited by our payment or shipping providers are not allowed. Do not use the marketplace for fraud, money laundering, prohibited financial activity, or transactions that violate applicable laws or sanctions. Sellers must disclose their shipping, handling, and return terms before a buyer commits to a purchase.

Sellers are responsible for appropriate packaging, accurate packed weight and dimensions, timely shipment, and lawful handling of buyer information. Buyers are responsible for a valid delivery address and for paying the total they approve.

4. Direct payment · tracked shipping

Checkout includes the listing price and the selected USPS shipping quote. There is no site processing fee. PayPal's own processing fees, if PayPal is used separately by the parties, are separate and follow the seller's agreement with PayPal. Applicable taxes are not calculated by the current shipping form; parties remain responsible for taxes and reporting required by law.

Payment collection happens directly between buyer and seller — this site does not process payments. Test or sandbox screens do not transfer real money. A quote or a delivery scan alone does not mean payment has completed. Confirm payment directly with the seller before shipping.

Buyers must review the amount with the seller, agree on a payment method, and confirm payment before the seller ships. PayPal's agreements, eligibility rules, and buyer and seller protection requirements also apply if PayPal is used separately. See PayPal's user agreement.

5. Shipping quotes and tracking

USPS rates and tracking are provided through the site's shipping provider when connected. Quotes depend on the seller's origin, packed parcel details, destination, and carrier availability. Quotes expire after 15 minutes; a changed price or package may require a new quote. Delivery estimates are estimates unless the carrier explicitly offers a qualifying guarantee under its own terms.

The current form does not purchase a shipping label or include insurance automatically. Sellers arrange and buy postage separately. Both parties can view their saved request and its tracking history while signed in. Seller-entered tracking numbers and carrier scans can contain errors or delays and do not establish that an item is authentic, undamaged, or paid for.

6. Cancellations, returns, refunds, and problems

Agree on return terms with the seller before buying. Contact the seller promptly about a missing, damaged, counterfeit, or incorrectly described item, keep your messages and records, and work directly with the seller to resolve problems. You can also report site misuse through our contact page.

An unpaid checkout may be cancelled where the site offers that option. Cancelling a shipping request or an unpaid checkout is not a refund of any payment made directly to the seller. Refunds must be handled directly between buyer and seller; the website displays the resulting shipping status when available. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights.

7. Community conduct and content

Do not harass, threaten, scam, spam, disclose another person's private information, post unlawful material, manipulate reviews, or interfere with the website or another account. Do not bypass access controls or scrape private information. Keep sensitive payment details, passwords, and identity documents out of listings, public chat, and messages.

You retain ownership of your content. By posting it, you give Collection Connection permission to store, display, and use it as needed to operate the marketplace and show the listing, profile, review, or conversation you requested. You are responsible for having the necessary rights. Report suspected rights violations using the contact details below and identify the content and your concern.

8. Availability, moderation, and outside services

Features may be unavailable, delayed, changed, or interrupted. We may remove content or restrict accounts to address misuse, fraud, security concerns, provider restrictions, or legal requirements. Restricting an account does not eliminate existing payment obligations or statutory rights.

Event-calendar entries and third-party links are supplied for information. Verify dates, hours, venue, and admission with the organizer before travelling or buying tickets. We do not control outside websites, sellers, carriers, or payment providers. Their own terms and privacy practices apply.

9. Service limits and legal rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and information are provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or the accuracy of user content. We do not guarantee every seller, listing, delivery estimate, or provider decision. Nothing in these terms excludes a responsibility or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, limits mandatory consumer protections, or requires you to waive rights that applicable law protects.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the revised version and date here and provide additional notice or seek agreement where required. Review the terms before a new transaction. Changes do not remove rights already established by applicable law or a completed transaction.
